Turmeric pancakes with CPRESS turmeric shot
1 cup self-raising flour (you can use gluten free)
1 CPRESS Turmeric shot
2/3 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
1 egg (or 1 tbsp chia in water or a plant based egg)
2 tbsp agave
1 vanilla bean, seeds scraped
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted and extra to make the pancakes
1 tsp baking powder
A handful of blackberries, or the fruits of your choice
A handful of crushed hazelnuts, or the nuts of your choice
1) In a large bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until the batter is lump-free and airy.
2) Melt a little coconut oil in a non-stick pan over a medium heat, and ladle in the pancake batter, about half a ladle per pancake at a time. Reduce the heat to low.
When bubbles of air appear on the surface of the pancake, flip with a spatula and cook until golden. Cook the rest of the pancakes over a low heat making sure to lightly oil the pan every couple.
3) Pile high in a plate, sprinkle the fruits and nuts and generously drizzle some maple syrup all over. Eat warm - if you haven't eaten them already!
